A Green Campus is where environmentally friendly practices and education combine to promote sustainable and eco-friendly practices on the campus. The green campus concept offers an institution the opportunity to redefine its environmental culture and develop new paradigms by creating sustainable solutions to mankind's environmental, social, and economic needs.

Sustainability principles and practices are embraced by WKU. People from all over this broad campus are taking action to make our campus more sustainable.
