Group Values: Multiculturalism and Globalization - The "Multiculturalism, Individual Difference, and Respect for Diversity" dimension of the programming curriculum at WKU contributes to understanding and advancing sustainability in relation to Diversity & Affordability by fostering an inclusive environment that values and appreciates cultural differences, preparing students to be responsible global citizens. The dimension aims to cultivate respect, appreciation, and tolerance for cultural differences, which promotes understanding and empathy among students from diverse backgrounds. By encouraging students to engage with different cultures and perspectives, the program helps to break down stereotypes and biases, creating a more inclusive campus community. This emphasis on multiculturalism and respect for diversity also promotes affordability by creating a supportive environment where students from all backgrounds feel valued and have equal opportunities to succeed. By fostering a more inclusive and equitable campus community, the program helps to build a more sustainable future where diversity is celebrated and affordability is prioritized.
